The staff at the Gastric Band Institute Center of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery strive to make your bariatric surgical experience pleasant from start to finish.  We take our roles as educators and support persons seriously as we aim to help you achieve your greatest goals. 

Brooke Lindsey, RN, CBN serves as our Bariatric Surgery Clinical Nurse Coordinator.  She is a Certified Bariatric Nurse and has been employed by the Gastric Band Institute since 2002.  She is a registered nurse licensed in both Georgia and Tennessee.  She performs laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding adjustments as well as coordinates patient education, support groups,  and day to day office activities.  She is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the Tennessee Chapter for the ASMBS, the Obesity Action Coalition, and is a member of the National Association for Bariatric Nurses. 

Kimi Mulkey serves as insurance/financial coordinator.  She works with patients both insurance and cash pay to help patients on their journey toward surgery.  She also has experience working with our scheduling and helps our clinical staff by weighing patients as they arrive for their appointment.

Morgan Hight is the newest member of our team.  She serves as our scheduling coordinator and it is very likely she will be the one to greet you on the phone.
